50 boats on the starting line this weekend at the Sofia Trophy of Cruisers and One Design

Count down at the RCNP to hold the 45 Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofía for cruising and one design classes, in the bay of Palma this next 22 and 23 of March, just before the Olympic classes regatta.

The competition is for the ORC Class and the one desing classes, J80, Flying Fifteen and Dragon. Three windward/leeward courses will be sailed on the 22nd and a coastal race on the 23rd.

Up to 50 sailing boats have entered in the different classes.

The Princesa Sofía for cruising classes is organised by the RCNP, whom also takes part in the organisation of the Olympic classes trophy that carries the same name.
This last trophy will take place from the 29th of march till the 5th of April with a spectacular entry this year. Almost one thousand boats have entered the competition, considered as one of the best 5 regattas in the world.
