The RCN Palma initiates the canoeing promotional season
This next Saturday, 15th of February, the canoeing promotional season will initiate it's activity in the Balearic islands with the winter regatta, organised by the RCNP and where 150 athletes (from 7 to 16 years) are expected to attend.
This event is the first one before the Balearic Championship to be held in two weeks time. The following categories are invited: Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, Cadete, Júnior, Senior y Veterans in men and women K1 and K2, and canoes.
The event will take place inside the harbour from 10 am onwards. The competitors will complete once, twice, three or five times, depending on year and category.
The Real Club Náutico de Palma will also organize, the second event of the Copa Balear in Kayak de Mar where 50 kayaks in the following categories Junior, Senior and Veterans will compete. The start of this competition will be at 09:30 from the beach of Pto Portals, with a 12 km distance to the Bay of Palma.
