Team RCNP, five victories and four podiums at the Campeonato de Mallorca

The Real Club Náutico de Palma is very happy with the good results obtained during the Campeonato de Mallorca for dinghy classes; with five victories and four podiums in different categories. Joan Cardona and Toni Salva are the overall winners in Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 classes.

The Campeonato de Mallorca has been sailed in two different regattas for the dinghy classes Laser, 420 and in the Optis. The Trofeo Pro-Rigging, organised by the RCNP, and the Trofeo CN Arenal, for the 420 and laser classes and the Trofeos Jordi Calafat, held at the Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa (CMSAP), and Pro-Rigging.

Joan Cardona (RCNP) proves to still be the best balearic laser sailor at present, with his six victories. Aina Bauzá, also of the RCNP, wins in the girls category.

Toni Salvá wins in Laser 4.7, followed by his team mates, Maximilian Kimpel, and by Antoni Sbert.

The 420 crew Laura Akrich and Clara Llabrés win in the ladies category and finish second overall, with eight races sailed. Jordi Llado wins and surprises in Optimist, followed by Arturo Madero (Sub 13, second place) and Laura Martínez (winner in the Sub 11).

Manuel Fraga, sports director of the RCNP, is satisfied with these results specially in laser class. Although he proves to be very happy in general with the progression in all the classes in part due to the hard work carried out by the coaches and the sailors.
