Handisport awards the RCNP for its support to the disabled sailing team.

The association Handisport will hand this afternoon at the RCNP the Handipeople award to all the entities and people who support this association.

With this Handipeople award, the Fundación Handisport wishes to thank all the support received from people, public and private entities. During this annual meeting all the firms year's accounts are also reviewed.
Representatives from the local institutions, the RCNP and the founder, handisport will assist the event; the Tourism and sports Council, Jaime Martínez; Serveis Socials director, Rafael Romero; the Insular sports director Joan Antoni Ramonell; the President of the RCNP, Javier Sanz, and Cristina Martín and Rafael Winckelmann, President and founder of Handisport.

The firms and people awarded this year are: Avis, Son Amar, Consell de Mallorca, Balearia, Bankia, Escuela Universitaria Felipe Moreno, Gaceta Náutica, SRB, Fundación Deporte y Desafío, SSIT Publicitaris, Puerto Portals, El Mundo El día de Baleares, Elite Club Fitness, Iberauditores, Antonio Carrillo and Gonzalo López Cancio from Handisport, the volunteers of Handisport and the RCNP-Handisport sailing team.

The Real Club Náutico de Palma, together with the Obra Social la Caixa, has supported the Fundación Handisport since five years now with the main objective to promote sports and sailing, amongst young disabled Mallorcan people.

Handisport is a private non lucrative entity founded in 2007 created to promote sports activity and social integration amongst disabled people.

Handisport has created a special award this year for the six main supporting entities;
Real Club Náutico de Palma, la Obra Social La Caixa, Ayuntamiento de Calvià, Club de Golf Maioris, Palma Aquarium and TUI Travel A&D.
