Airlan-Aermec, Presto, Ibe Tres Mares and Fehurihi win the Copa 3 Clubes

The leaders of the Copa 3 Clubs are the boats with the best overall average of the inshore events of the Copa 3 Clubs, organised by the yacht clubs of Sa Ràpita, Palma and S’Arenal.

The ´Club Nautic of S´Arenal organised this past weekend the fourth and last qualifying series of the Copa 3 Clubs. Almost 20 boats took the start, even with a bad weather forecast.

Airlan-Aermec of Joan Cabrer, proved to be the fastest boat in ORC 0-1 división of this Copa 3 Clubs. KS of Neus Poncel and Matías Gil take second place, followed Bruix owned by Miguel Ángel Mercadal, who finishes third overall.

Presto also clearly dominated in the ORC-2 division. Eduardo Horrach's, representing the RCNP, has won the four races of this trophy. On the other hand Mestral Fast of Morell & Manresa managed to keep their second place in front of a pushing "Pinyol Vermell" onwed by Félix Comas.

A tighter final was expected in the ORC-3 division, where three boats had options for pódium. Tres Mares of María Campins, sailing for CN s’Arenal, led overall after the last race held this weekend, the Trofeo Mar Blau and took Yabadaba down to the second place followed by Sirpy.

The cruiser Fehurihi from the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx dominated from the beginning of the series till the last one, the Trofeo Mar Blau. Second place in this division is for Maribe, followed by Velamar XV of Jaime Cabot who finished third overall.

This edition of the Copa 3 Clubs, were scheduled to sail five diferent regattas, the last one being cancelled (29th of november), only four were held: 44 Princesa Sofía, organised by the RCNP in March; Trofeo José Luis Ferrer; the Regatta Olympic By GP, organised by the RCNP (9 to 10 November, and finally the Trofeo Mar Blau, organised by CN S’Arenal.

The three clubs would like to thank the large number of competitors for their support this year.
