Presentation of the 63 Trofeo Ciutat de Palma
The Port Authority will hold the press presentation of the dinghy classes regatta, the 63 Trofeo Ciutat de Palma, (from the 5th to the 8th of December), next wednesday, 4th of december at 13:00 h. Fernando Gilet, culture and sports deputy of Palma's Townhall, Alberto Pons, President of the Port Authority and the President of the Real Club Nautico de Palma.
The event is organised by the Real Club Náutico de Palma, and expects 509 sailors from 14 different countries. The fleets are: 387 Optimist, 22 Laser Radial, 27 Laser 4.7 and 36, 420 dinghy boats.
The Ciutat de Palma is the most important youngsters regatta and the oldest competition of the Balearic Islands.
The pre-entered large fleet takes the organising committee of this regatta to prepare two different racing courses. This requires more tan 50 technical staff out on the water to carry out the event.
